The scene saw Sting confront Team Authority leader, Triple H, in the middle of the ring, creating a remarkable, goose bump-generating atmosphere. The two circled around each other scowling and glaring all while being serenaded with this is awesome chants. The feeling that something special was happening filled the air. As Sting dropped Triple H, allowing Team Cena to claim victory, its hard not to put this near the top of the Survivor Series moments list just because of its historical value. Sting, the heart and soul of WCW, finally made it to the WWE, and finally got a chance to round out his extraordinary career.The monumental appearance set the stage for an eventual WrestleMania showdown with Triple H the following year, which then led to a WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2016. During his speech at the Hall of Fame, Sting announced his retirement. This was his final in-ring accomplishment and it all started at the Survivor Series.
